Our Policies
Registrations
Registrations are taken up until a few hours before a class is held.
Pre-payment via credit card or check. Checks and call-in payments must be received prior to a class beginning to ensure registration.
It is our goal to provide excellent service to all, offering flexibility for your busy schedule; at the same time, mandatory courses and populated renewal months can create high, unpredictable last-minute demand, so we will honor registrations on a first-come, first served basis.
Thank you for your understanding.
Course Cancellation Policy
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule classes or substitute instructors/topics; in this event, we will attempt to contact pre-registered students as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding. We regret any inconvenience this may cause and we will do our best to help arrange other accommodations.
Refund Policy
Fees apply per person per course. Course payments may be transferred to another scheduled course prior to the start time of registered course with no charge. Courses canceled requesting a refund prior to the start time of registered course will be charged a $10 administration fee. Courses paid for, but not attended, will be refunded, less a $20 processing fee.
Certificate Policy
We report your credits to the state on your behalf, as well as to the CFP Board and ClearCert, where applicable. After completion of a course, a Certificate of Completion will be emailed to you the next business day to retain for proof of attendance. If you do not receive your certificate, check your spam/junk folder.
Returned Check Policy
Community Educators, LLC assesses a $25 fine for checks returned unpaid by the payee’s bank, this is a non-refundable fee.
